Terrible Management I reside here for two years. First year was overall good. However, I highly recommend to move out after spending 1 year. They don't appreciate the lease renewal tenant. They even treat the long-term resident as a fool. They try to raise your rent 10% per year, which is higher rate for the other vacant units in the property. Furthermore, they don't provide any R&M service if you stay within the same unit. I strongly recommend to move in to other units where you can get much lower rate or just move out to other great buildings nearby. They do not care about you once you move in!

Building itself is gorgeous, concierge and maintenance staff are wonderful (5 stars), but Durst management is awful to work with (1 star). Worst kind of arbitrary, bureaucratic policies that don’t care even a little bit about actual people. For example, my husband and I are attempting to move across the hall from our current unit, but we have to go through the complete application process from scratch including background checks, bank statements, license and passport photos, pay stubs, etc. (supposedly because of the $200 rent increase for the new unit, though no such requirement exists for the $300 increase to renew in our current unit). These documents must be saved not only in the correct format but in a specific way - can’t do Save As or Print to PDF, though of course they don’t tell you until after you’ve submitted them the “wrong” way - and, even better, we have now discovered that their application portal is unsecured and our personal documents are available online for anyone to download. Their precious “standardized” verification process doesn’t support either of our employers, despite the fact that we work for two of the most recognizable organizations in literally the entire world. There have been irritating moments with management before, but we loved living here enough to ignore them. Now they’ve made it as difficult to move across the hall as it is to start over with a new management company, so that might just be what we end up doing. Very frustrating to be treated this way after happily calling this our home for a year.

One of the best leasing experiences and apartment unit I have had in NYC. All of management specifically (Rabiya Rizvi) is very responsive and attentive during the leasing process and have been helpful when it came to additional needs. Being a person that is so indecisive, they truly work around the clock to make me feel at home before and after leasing. The unit itself is well kept and maintenance comes pretty quickly to address your needs. The ease of access with building link and communications between service requests are prime. Truly loved having the opportunity to live here and would recommend it to anyone wanting to have a quiet neighborhood with fantastic in-building amenities. The distance from the nearest subway at times can be a little rough, but the shuttle service provided bridges that gap when available.
